FESTIVAL DE CANNES 2022 – MARCHE DU FILM

The Festival de Cannes will celebrates its 75th edition. The Cannes Film Festival will take place from Tuesday, May 17 to Wednesday, May 25 at the Palais des Festivals in Cannes.

The Official Poster of the Festival de Cannes 75th edition pays tribute to “The Truman Show” directed in 1998 by Australian Peter Weir with Jim Carrey. It is “a poetic celebration of the insuperable quest for expression and freedom. An upward journey to contemplate the past and move ahead towards the promise of a revival.”

French actor Vincent Lindon will be the President of the Jury. Together with 8 jury members, the actor who won Best Actor in 2015 will present the Palme d’Or to one of the 21 films in competition on Saturday, May 28, during the closing ceremony.
